What exactly is website content maintenance?
It's a managed service where we handle all your website updates — changing text, swapping photos, adding new services, updating prices — plus regular backups and security monitoring. You send us what you need changed, we do it within 48 hours (or 24 hours on Business and Premium plans).
How do I submit content changes?
Simply email us or call us. Tell us what you need changed — new text, a replacement photo, a new product — and we'll handle it. You don't need to log into any system or write any code.
Silver and Gold clients: you're entitled to one free minor content update (text and photo swaps) per quarter — no charge. Non-cumulative, so use it each quarter. Changes beyond that scope are charged at RM150/hour.
Do I need WordPress maintenance if TheMalaysian.com manages my site?
Yes — even if we built your site, WordPress requires regular core, plugin and theme updates that are separate from content changes. Without these updates, security vulnerabilities build up over time. Our WordPress Maintenance plans handle all of this so you never have to think about it.
What's the difference between General Maintenance and WordPress Maintenance?
General Content Maintenance is for HTML/PHP/CSS sites — it covers content updates, backups and security. WordPress Maintenance covers all of that plus WordPress-specific tasks: core software updates, plugin and theme patching, staging environments and WooCommerce health checks for eCommerce stores.
Can I cancel my maintenance plan?
Yes — all plans are annual and aligned with your website renewal. You may choose not to renew at the end of each annual cycle. If you need to cancel mid-year, please contact us — we'll always try to work something out. We won't penalise you for leaving, but we hope you won't need to.
What does "bundling with annual renewal" mean?
All maintenance plans are annual — billed once per year, aligned with your website renewal date. Bundling simply means combining your website renewal invoice and your maintenance plan into one payment, so you have a single annual invoice to manage.
Is the Premium plan blog post written in English or Bahasa Malaysia?
